| The School |
The aim of the school is to provide a stimulating environment for both the novice and the advanced student in which they can discover their love for the craft.
With plenty of modern equipment, 3 wheels, a very large kiln, extruder, slab roller and more, as well as a limit of three students in any one time slot, students are guaranteed access to all equipment as well as the full attention of the instructor.
Students can start at any time, and stay for as long as they enjoy the experience. Payment is on a weekly basis, and provided an 80% attendance is achieved, absences are not charged. Students are not required to purchase tools and there is no charge for glazing and firing. Students are only required to purchase the clay that they use.
Many area potters started their career with Edwin who is experienced both as a potter and as a teacher. It is Edwin's hope that many more will join their ranks. |
